The most commonly used methods for LED video wall installation are Floor standing, Hanging Installation, and Wall Mounted.

A big portion of our clients will choose a suitable installation method for their own LED video Wall according to site status and space requirements. To help you understand the possibilities of how to install an LED video wall, We’ve put together three of the most common LED Wall mounting techniques.

1. Floor Standing LED Video Wall installation [Ground or Roof]

​

This method is the most common option for DOOH screens, requiring only a rear support system. In some cases, LED panel manufacturers have specially designed rear brackets to accommodate panels in this type of mounting. In many cases, you can use a standard truss with a base plate as a back support system. We also strongly recommend that you use a trained and insured installation company to assist with installation.

2. Hanging LED Video Wall

​

This method requires extensive rigging techniques and safety knowledge, and it's most widely used for rental design LED panels for the sound&lighting, stage, and AV rental industry. The ceiling needs to be strong enough to support the total weight of the screen and keep the walls properly installed. If no existing structural onsite, additional engineering costs are required to install the required substructure.

3. Wall-mounted&Wall-Embedded

​

With structure the LED video wall can be installed on a wall, for small screen for example less than 4sqm the substure can be very simple, sometimes few 2mm steel plates will be ok. For a bigger LED display it is suggested to make a substructure with 40mm square tubes. In both ways, the screen will be wall mounted, and the user can decorate the wall to make the screen surface the same level as the decoration material.

4. Pillar Support

​

This is mainly for outdoor advertising products, the screen can be installed on a unipolar or on dual poles, usually when there’s no wall on site and the screen needs to be installed a few meters from the ground, to save cost and make it easier, use the pillar to support the screen.
